When to have your brakes checked
Squealing or grinding noise, a soft or low pedal, vibration in the steering wheel when you stop, pulling to one side, or a warning light can all point to brake wear or a hydraulic issue. Minnesota’s stop-and-go traffic, winter salt, and hills around the metro all wear pads and rotors faster than highway cruising alone.
What we inspect
We look at pad thickness, rotor condition, calipers, hoses, fluid level and condition, and parking brake operation on vehicles so equipped. If your car has ABS or electronic parking brakes, we factor that into diagnostics so you are not paying for parts you do not need.
