Our mission
Apple Valley Car Clinic is a full-service, family-owned automotive repair shop. We work on all vehicle makes and models. Our goal is to get you back on the road quickly, explain what your car needs in plain language, and go the extra mile on the details that matter.
Apple Valley roots
Apple Valley Car Clinic is the business you know today. The shop’s story starts in 1997, when Doug and Karen opened under an earlier trade name with help from friends and loyal customers. In 2001 the operation moved to its current location on 147th Street for more space and better visibility. In 2012 it was renamed Apple Valley Car Clinic, a change the family describes as one of their best decisions because it let them serve customers without franchise constraints.
The family behind the shop
Justin owns Apple Valley Car Clinic today. He grew up around the shop, learned the trade from the ground up, and joined full time after college. His parents, Doug and Karen, opened the shop in 1997. Doug has more than thirty-five years in automotive repair and has been the face of the shop for decades. Karen supported the business behind the scenes for years and took on a bigger role after the 2012 name change.
Community
When they are not under the hood, the family enjoys travel (especially escaping Minnesota winters) and time outdoors together.
